Pebble Hill Plantation

16 July 2016

Pebble Hill Plantation is just a few miles south of downtown Thomasville, GA, making it an easy afternoon trip from Tallahassee.

For $5 you can take a leisurely stroll on the self-guided walking tour and for $15 you can tour the grounds as well as the inside of the plantation house. We went with the leisurely stroll (college student budget you know). The area the walking tour covers is quite small, but all of the stops were quaint and pleasant. It only took us about 45 minutes, so its a great pit stop on your way into town.

Afterwards we went downtown to window shop and eat at Jonah’s (also found out their hush puppies are to die for). All in all a very successful and fun day trip. Sometimes all it takes is a 30 minute drive to feel like you’re on vacation.
