Okeeheepkee Prairie Park

04 June 2016

I decided to wander over to Tallahassee’s newest park earlier this month for a quaint afternoon walk.

The park is tucked away near the I-10/North Monroe Junction. It is definitely a great place to go if you don’t have much time to spare. The park itself is 26 acres, but the walking/recreational area is pretty small.

I walked around for about an hour and it was really nice! There were only a few other people there. Since it is so new the walking path is very developed and easy to walk along.

Highlight: saw an alligator
