Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park

17 April 2016

Finally checked this one off the Tallahassee bucket list.

Last Sunday I ventured over to Maclay Gardens, arguably Tallahassee’s most well-known outdoors destination. Unfortunately, I missed the floral peak season, which is mid to late March.  I would have liked to see more flowers, but the park was still gorgeous.

I was only able to tour the house and walk around the garden area, but there is also a rec area, with more nature trails, canoeing, fishing and such.

Everyone that lives in or is visiting Tally should definitely make the visit!
